These photos were taken on August 1, 2024 at Lake Perris.  This past summer, the Olympic torch was passed from Paris to Los Angeles.  Although my Perris is not even in LA County, the Olympic Rowing and Canoe Sprint were supposed to be held at Lake Perris.  However, the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games decided to consolidate all events in LA County.  My quiet hometown almost made it onto the world stage.  Here are some photos I took of the lake and surrounding area.
