like our garden 

we are constantly growing

needing love and energy 

to keep us glowing 

at times we begin to wither

when our growth is stunt

but when the sun shines

and we take a deep breath 

we begin to grow again 

life isn’t always perfect 

sometimes our petals fall

I promise you that we will keep growing
